My primary project in the lab is our clinical trial, which utilizes xenodiagnosis to detect Borrelia burgdorferi in individuals who have previously undergone antibiotic therapy for Lyme disease and may have persisting symptoms. I also work on a variety of projects aimed at development of a human vaccine for Lyme disease as well as strategies for vaccinating the mouse reservoirs.
