Patient Services

Tufts Medical Center

The Division of Rheumatology offers a weekly Lyme Disease Clinic in which patients are assessed objectively and compassionately for complex issues surrounding the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease. We work with each patient’s primary care physician to provide the best possible evaluation and long-term care.

The clinic is run by Dr. Robert Kalish, who has been evaluating patients for questions related to the diagnosis and management of Lyme disease for over 20 years.  Dr. Kalish is listed as one of Boston Magazine’s Top Doctors.  He has long been involved in Lyme disease research, including studying the humoral immune response in patients with Lyme disease and studying the long-term effects of patients who had Lyme disease many years ago.
