Morgan Williams, M.S.

Morgan joined the Tufts Lyme Disease Initiative in January of 2023. She completed her MS at the University at Albany before being introduced to Lyme disease research during her time at the Wadsworth Center with the New York State Department of Health. Morgan’s previous work has contributed to characterizing normal and dysregulated immune responses to B. burgdorferi in humans. Her current work focuses on elucidating the effects of a particular polymorphism on early inflammatory responses and how this polymorphism may impact the development of immune tolerance (or lack thereof) to B. burgdorferi.
