Dr. Ralph Isberg is a Professor of Microbiology at Tufts University School of Medicine. An alumni of the Howard Hughes Institute, his laboratory has performed pioneering work in understanding how intracellular pathogens enter and interact with host cells. His laboratory has been collaborating with Dr. Petnicki-Ocwieja to help analyze the interaction of B. burgdorferi with molecules inside host macrophages.
