Scientific dedication runs through the Telford family. Dr. Sam Telford’s wife, Heidi, whom he met while doing graduate work at Harvard, now also researches infectious diseases at Grafton’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University with her nationally-renowned spouse.
