Dr. Heidi Goethert is a Research Assistant Professor at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine where she studies the molecular ecology and epidemiology of tick-borne diseases.  The diseases she is interested in are those that affect the local community around Tufts: Lyme disease, babesiosis, anaplasmosis, deer tick virus, and tularemia.
